The Use Case Management provides a structured way to develop an Information Delivery Manual (IDM) and is based on the ISO 29481-1:2016. The service ensures a common language and common understanding of BIM / VDC applications (Use Cases) within the construction and real estate industry. Use cases help clients and contractors to define their BIM goals. The content of a use case can be part of a BIM execution plan (BEP). Each use case consists of the specific information exchanger requirements (EIR). The use cases are neutral and based on an open BIM approach.
